INSUL-MATE™ Aluminum Alclad DESCRIPTION RPR Products Insul-Mate™ Aluminum Alclad Sheet and Jacketing is formed from a high purity 7072 alloy surface layers metallurgically bonded to a high strength 3004 alloy core aluminum. Alclad is a superior corrosion resistant alloy compared to present day alloys and meets ASTM standard B209. The properties of these combined aluminum alloys provide the required strength to resist in-service abuse, but can be easily fabricated and installed. The attractive mill finish maintains its sharp appearance, a necessity for any insulation project. Aluminum Alclad’s resistance to atmospheric corrosion makes its use ideal, even in marine, chemical, industrial environments, or Power Generation. Alclad’s excellent resistance to corrosion reduces cost through long service without maintenance or painting.
